Dear Friends,
What can we here in Boston area do? ...raise funds for those desperately in need by holding a yoga benefit. We did it...raising just over 400.00!

Snow Lion Yoga conducted classes to raise funds for the animal victims of hurricane Katrina. ON October 15, 2005 3 benefit classes were held in the Putnam Cafe at The River Street Whole Foods in Cambridge, MA. If you could not attend, if you care to donate to the benefit please call or email..and we will send you an address to include your donation.

We are most grateful to Whole Foods River Street for helping us by providing the beautiful space for our benefit.

6:00 pm

Yoga classes ..suitable for ALL levels

We asked for a donation of 15.00 per student/per class (of coarse more is welcome too)

There were a few surprises,

Harmony provided PVC free Jade mats to purchase too....100% of money raised from class and supplies went to the animal relief organizations of your choice.

Whole Foods Market River Street had a Wellness Brand pet food event and donated pet food to participants in addition to a 5.00 coupon to the River Street WFM store.

There were cruelty free snack (Luna Bars) for our hungry Yogi's and Yogini's
